The Star-Lord helmet is a genuinely striking object on a shelf, and LEGO®'s bust format has proven it can anchor a room. The problem here is the math: $79.99 for 602 pieces and zero minifigs is a tough ask when comparable busts landed at friendlier prices. The build itself leans on repetitive shell-shaping techniques that feel more like obligation than craft. There's no interior detail, no figure to contextualize it, just a hollow dome staring back at you. Marvel fans who want a display centerpiece will find it does the job, but it never quite justifies what LEGO® is charging for it. A D+ overall says this set exists more because the IP exists than because anyone had a great idea.
