The Hulkbuster armor is one of the best designs in Marvel lore, and this set captures that presence — but $49.99 for 385 pieces is a tough sell when the build doesn't quite match the ambition of the suit itself.
Is the price fair?C-Fifty dollars for 385 pieces in a Marvel mech is the story, and it's not a flattering one.
Will you love it?B-The suit design carries it — Hulkbuster fans will find something to like even if the build wraps up fast.
Holds its value?C-Middling Marvel mechs rarely spike after retirement; don't count on this one bucking that trend.

The Full Take
The Hulkbuster has always had a way of commanding a room, and the mech-style build here does land with some shelf weight. Four minifigs including Okoye and M'Baku give it some Wakanda-specific flavor that feels earned by the theme. The build experience is decent but not deep — 385 pieces moves quickly, and there's not much that challenges or surprises along the way. The price is where this stumbles: fifty dollars for this part count in 2023 is a stretch, and LEGO®'s Marvel pricing has been under a microscope for exactly this reason. It grades out to a C+ overall — a set that delivers well enough on fun and display but undercuts itself on value from the moment you see the price tag.
