The Full Take
Ghost Rider getting the mech treatment is a weird swing, and weirdly it half-works. The flaming skull aesthetic translates better in brick form than you'd expect, and the bike companion piece gives the set a secondary focal point that keeps it from feeling empty. That said, 264 pieces at $35 is a thin package — you feel the lightness in your hands when you pick it up. The mech itself is more of a posed display piece than a rewarding build; the steps go fast and don't throw many curveballs. One minifig of a character this visually wild is the right call, since the builds carry the shelf presence. It's a B- set: worth it if Ghost Rider is your guy, optional if he's not.
