The Goat Boat is one of those sets that sneaks up on you. Five minifigs at $59.99 is a deal that most Marvel sets won't come near, and the lineup — Thor, Korg, Valkyrie, and two goats rendered in brick form — captures the absurd charm of Love and Thunder better than the movie captured itself. The build is a solid Viking longship with enough going on to keep you engaged without demanding anything exotic. It won't blow your mind on the shelf the way a UCS piece does, but it holds its own as a display piece in a Marvel collection. Where it stumbles slightly is in the overall parts offering — 564 pieces for a boat this size leaves some gaps in density and detail you might wish were filled. Still, the minifig value alone makes this one of the better buys in the Marvel lineup this year.
