Three minifigs at $29.99 is the real headline — Gargantos himself is one of the wilder creature builds LEGO® has pulled off at this price point.
Is the price fair?A+Three minifigs and a wild tentacled creature for $29.99 — this one's a no-brainer on price.
Will you love it?C+The build is short, but Gargantos has real personality and the minifig lineup is strong.
Holds its value?C-Don't expect this to age into a trophy — Marvel creature sets at this scale rarely climb.
The Full Take
Gargantos Showdown punches above its weight where it counts most: minifig value. America Chavez, Wong, and Doctor Strange in his Gargantos-battle look are all solid, and the squid creature itself is a genuinely expressive build for under thirty bucks. The set won't win any awards for parts count, and the 264-piece experience goes by fast. But the scene it captures is specific and fun, and the creature's articulated tentacles give kids something to actually interact with. As a shelf piece it reads clearly — nobody will mistake that thing for a generic monster. For the price, it's hard to complain.
