A $10 Black Panther mech that looks sharp on a shelf but stings a little at the register — this one's for the Marvel completist, not the bargain hunter.
The parts alone are worth about 99% of the street price — the basis for this D+ price read.
FairParts are worth about 99% of the price — close to what the set is worth.
The Black Panther Mech Armor is a tight little Marvel build that punches above its part count on shelf presence — the purple and black color blocking is clean and the mech silhouette reads well from a distance. That said, $9.99 for 125 pieces and one minifig is where it starts to wobble; you're paying a Marvel tax and you feel it. The build itself is short and mostly straightforward, so don't come in expecting a satisfying Saturday afternoon session. Where it wins is as a desk piece or a shelf accent — it's compact, recognizable, and Wakanda-coded enough to hold its own next to bigger sets. Kids will probably zip through it and move on, but for a Marvel fan who wants a T'Challa display without committing to a large set, it scratches that itch without much shelf real estate.
