The Hydra Stomper is one of the more underrated What If designs, and this set captures it decently — but $30 for 343 pieces is a tough sell when the mech itself feels a little thin up close.
Is the price fair?D+$30 for this build feels about $8 too confident.
Will you love it?B-The mech's personality carries it — you'll dig it if you liked the episode.
Holds its value?C-Niche IP, mid piece count — don't bank on a meaningful bump at retirement.

The Full Take
Captain Carter is a great character who deserved a better set. The Hydra Stomper mech has real visual personality — chunky, retro, Stark-ified — and LEGO® nailed the silhouette. But crack it open and the build is over fast, and at $30 it sits in an uncomfortable middle zone: not cheap enough to impulse-buy, not substantial enough to feel premium. Three minifigs including Steve Rogers in the cockpit is a nice touch, and the set does look presentable on a shelf. The C+ overall says it best — there's a good set in here, buried under a price tag that asks a little too much for what you get.
