Three minifigs in a $40 Marvel set is a flex — Iron Man, Iron Monger, AND Nick Fury for under forty bucks is the kind of lineup that makes you do a double-take at the shelf tag.
Is the price fair?A+Three-fig Marvel set under $40 — LEGO® barely charges you for the Iron Monger at this point.
Will you love it?C+n/a
Holds its value?C-Decent demand from Marvel fans but not the kind of set that quietly doubles — sell if you see a spike.
The Full Take
The minifig haul here is what sells this set. Iron Man and Iron Monger are the obvious duo, but throwing Nick Fury into a $40 box is the kind of move that makes you wonder what LEGO® was thinking — in the best way. The Iron Monger mech itself is chunky and satisfying, a solid centerpiece that photographs well and doesn't feel like filler. The build is breezy at 488 pieces, more of a fun afternoon than a weekend project, which isn't a knock so much as a calibration. Where it stumbles is density — the overall scene feels a little sparse once it's assembled, more of a vignette than a full display. Still, at $39.99 for this character lineup and build quality, this one punches above its class.
