The Full Take
Venom is one of Marvel's most visually arresting characters, and LEGO® leaned into that with a snarling bust that does look unhinged on a shelf. The problem is everything outside the aesthetics. No minifig inclusion at this price is a choice that stings, and 565 pieces for $69.99 is a tough sell when the build itself isn't complex enough to justify the experience. The techniques are fine — nothing that'll make a builder stop and study a section twice. It's a set that coasts on the IP and hopes the character's coolness closes the deal. For die-hard Venom fans there's some shelf appeal here, but the grades tell the story: F on price, C on love. This one needed either a lower price or a lot more ambition.
