The minifig roster on Avengers Tower Battle is legitimately stacked for what looks like a mid-tier set — seven characters is the kind of pull you'd expect at a higher price point. The problem is that $89.99 buys you a build that feels more like a playset skeleton than a display centerpiece. The tower itself is more suggestion than structure, open-backed and thin in ways that hurt it on a shelf. As a play experience for kids it holds up a little better — there's action, there are villains, and the characters are recognizable. But the value equation never closes: the price is steep for what you're holding, and the build won't challenge anyone past the first hour. A C+ overall is being generous in some spots and stingy in others, but mostly it captures a set that had the pieces (literally) to be something better.
