A Helicarrier at minifig scale should be one of the most iconic sets Marvel ever made — instead it's a $120 toy that feels like it stopped halfway to greatness.
Is the price fair?D$120 for this feels like a stretch — there's not enough set here to justify it.
Will you love it?B-Fun enough to build and play with, not memorable enough to miss if you skip it.
Holds its value?C-Steady but uninspiring — don't expect a big payday when this one retires.

The Full Take
The Avengers Helicarrier is a concept that practically writes its own hype, and LEGO® has pulled it off before at a much grander scale. This version strips the ambition down to something kid-friendly and play-focused, which isn't inherently wrong — but at $120, you expect more than you get. Eight minifigs is a solid roster, and the rotating rotors and hinged deck give kids something to do. The problem is that the build itself never surprises you, and the finished model looks more like a proof-of-concept than a statement piece. It occupies a strange middle ground: too big to be a casual buy, too modest to feel premium. If you're an MCU fan who missed the 76042 Ultimate version, this won't scratch that same itch — but it's a competent, playable set that just didn't need to cost this much.
