Seven minifigs anchoring a $100 compound that barely fills the table — this set lives and dies on the lineup, not the build.
Is the price fair?C-A hundred dollars for what feels like a battle environment kit with minifigs as the main event — the price never quite matched the build.
Will you love it?B-The character roster is the hook; if your favorites are in the lineup, the set clicks.
Holds its value?C-Steady but unspectacular — this one won't climb the way smaller, minifig-scarce sets do.

The Full Take
The Avengers Compound Battle is carried almost entirely by who shows up to the fight: seven Marvel characters in one box is a strong pull, and for fans who wanted an End Game roster they could actually pose together, this delivered. The compound itself is a different conversation — 704 pieces spread across a staging-ground layout that reads more like a backdrop than a destination. There's a Quinjet, a watchtower, and some scenery, but nothing that snaps together into a satisfying centerpiece. At $100 on the nose it was always a tough sell, and with prices where they are now in the secondary market, the math doesn't get easier. Where this set holds up is play: kids get vehicles, a battle layout, and hero vs. villain matchups straight out of the movie. If the minifig lineup matches what your household cares about, that's the real value here — the rest of the set is scaffolding around it.
