Venom deserved better than this. A $50 mech build with 612 pieces that barely justifies the concept, and the whole thing feels like LEGO® stretched a B-tier idea into an A-tier price slot.
Is the price fair?F612 pieces for $49.99 was a bad deal in 2019 and it hasn't aged into a better one.
Will you love it?C-Venom's cool but the mech is forgettable and the build won't hold your attention long.
Holds its value?C-Mediocre sets from mid-tier Marvel waves don't tend to climb — this one's no exception.

The Full Take
Spider-Mech vs. Venom sounds like a slam-dunk on paper — two iconic characters, a giant mech, Marvel branding. The reality is a set that costs $50 for a build that doesn't deliver the shelf presence or play depth to back that up. The mech itself is chunky and functional but not interesting; there's no design moment that makes you stop and look twice. Four minifigs sounds decent until you realize the lineup isn't exactly stacked with chase-worthy characters. The price grade is an F for a reason — this was overpriced at launch and the secondary market hasn't done it any favors. If you're a Marvel completionist, you already know. Everyone else can skip it.
