A hundred bucks for 1011 pieces of Infinity War chaos — the Sanctum looks good on a shelf but the price tag was an ask even in 2018, and it still stings.
Is the price fair?DOverpriced at launch and the secondary market hasn't forgiven it either.
Will you love it?C+Solid MCU moment capture, but nothing about the build will stick with you.
Holds its value?C-Retired quietly — the kind of set that drifts, not climbs.

The Full Take
The Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown landed right at peak Infinity War hype, and the Sanctum facade itself has real shelf presence — that arched window reads across a room. The problem is LEGO® charged like this was a collector piece when it's really a mid-tier playset with a collapsing floor gimmick and some foam dart launchers. Five minifigs including Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian help the case, but the villain duo alone can't justify a $99.99 price point that was already aggressive in 2018. The build experience is competent without being memorable — you'll enjoy it once, but there's no section that makes you stop and think about the technique. It sits at a C for a reason: not broken, not brilliant, just a licensed set doing exactly what licensed sets do. If you're an MCU completionist, it fills the gap; if you're spending carefully, there are smarter places to put $100.
