This set has a paradox at its core: it ranks near the top for minifig count, yet the minifigs themselves underwhelm badly. The Gauntlet centerpiece is genuinely impressive for 2018 — a swooshable, chunky prop that holds its own on a shelf. Thanos gets a decent brick-built look, but the supporting cast feels thin on detail and printing. At $69.99 for 683 pieces, the price point was one of the better Marvel deals at launch, which is probably why it moved. A B- overall is fair — there's enough here to satisfy an Infinity War fan, but this isn't the set you brag about to builder friends.
