Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet should be a slam dunk, but at $70 for what you get, LEGO® left too much on the table. The build is fine, the minifigs are decent — it just never quite lands the way the IP deserves.
Is the price fair?C-Sixty-nine dollars for this build is a stretch — the IP is doing most of the heavy lifting.
Will you love it?C+The Thanos fig delivers, but the build around it won't hold your attention long.
Holds its value?C-Flat secondary market — plenty of supply from the Infinity War rush and nothing rare enough to drive demand.

The Full Take
The Infinity War hype was real, and LEGO® knew it — Thanos: Ultimate Battle rides one of Marvel's biggest cultural moments straight into your living room. The set delivers a Thanos minifig with the Gauntlet, which is the centerpiece everyone actually wants, and the supporting cast of Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange fills out a solid battle scene. The problem is the price point. Sixty-nine dollars for 683 pieces and a build that doesn't quite match the drama of the source material is a tough sell, even for die-hard MCU fans. The structure itself is functional but forgettable — a generic alien landscape that leans heavily on the minifigs to carry the scene. It's not a bad set, but it's a set that could've been great and settled for adequate. If the Thanos fig is what you're after, that's your reason to buy; if you want the whole package to justify the cost, you'll feel the gap.
