The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition landed with one of the strongest price grades we've seen on a large Marvel set, and the sheer bulk of the build justifies the box size in a way most superhero sets can't claim. At nearly 1,400 pieces, the construction is layered enough to keep a dedicated builder occupied — lots of articulation work, paneling, and mechanical detailing that rewards patience. On the shelf it commands space; the scale is hard to argue with and the suit reads as genuinely imposing next to a standard minifig display. Where it stumbles is the minifig situation — one figure in a $120 box is thin, and the play story suffers for it. As a build trophy it holds up; as a complete Marvel experience it feels like half the cast is missing. Value retention has been middling, which makes it a collector's buy more than a speculator's.
