The Hulkbuster suit is the star here, and LEGO® knows it — but $30 for 375 pieces in 2018 was a stretch even then. Four minifigs including Bruce Banner saves it from being a total overpay.
Is the price fair?D+Paying Marvel tax on a 375-piece set stings — this needed to be $24.99 to feel fair.
Will you love it?BThe Hulkbuster mech delivers shelf presence and a solid minifig lineup that earns the B.
Holds its value?C-Flat secondary market movement — not a disaster, but don't bank on meaningful appreciation.

The Full Take
The Hulkbuster mech is one of those builds that just looks right on a shelf — chunky, imposing, unmistakably Marvel. But the price point at launch was hard to defend; you're paying a premium for the IP and the minifig lineup, not the parts count. That said, the four-fig spread (including Bruce Banner, which was rare at the time) gives this set genuine character beyond just the big red suit. The build itself is approachable without being boring — kids can get through it, adult fans won't feel insulted. Secondary market performance has been lukewarm, which makes this a buy-it-to-enjoy-it proposition rather than a hold. If you're a Hulkbuster completionist or wanted that Banner fig without hunting the aftermarket, this one made sense. Everyone else should wait for a sale.
