The Milano vs. The Abilisk made a strong case for itself back in 2017, and the minifig lineup is still the headline: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Nebula, and Mantis all in one box for fifty bucks. The Milano build itself is compact but punchy — recognizable silhouette, decent detail for the scale, and it holds together well on a shelf. Five figures for a mid-size set is the kind of ratio that makes you do a double-take, and for a Guardians fan that alone justifies the purchase. The Abilisk creature model is a bit thin compared to the ship, which keeps the set from being a true slam dunk. Still, as a snapshot of the Vol. 2 roster, this one delivers where it counts most — the characters, not the bricks.
