Hogwarts Astronomy Tower

Based on 6 reviews · thin
Eight minifigs in one set — including Dumbledore, Umbridge, and Trelawney — makes the Astronomy Tower one of the deepest character drops in the entire Harry Potter lineup. The tower itself looks the part on a shelf, and the price lands in fair territory for what you're getting.
Is the price fair?B+Fair for eight minifigs and a tower this size — not a deal, not a gouge.
Will you love it?BThe minifig roster alone justifies the buy for HP fans; the tower is solid but not stunning.
Holds its value?B+Steady appreciator — not a moonshot, but it moves in the right direction post-retirement.

The Full Take
The Astronomy Tower earns its B+ by doing a lot of things right without being exceptional at any single one. Eight minifigs is the headline — you're getting a rare Umbridge and a Trelawney in the same box, which is a big deal for anyone building out a Hogwarts cast. The modular tower design reads well on a shelf, with enough gothic stone texture and window detail to feel like Hogwarts and not just a generic castle. The build itself is straightforward — nothing that'll blow a seasoned builder's mind, but it's satisfying and layered enough to keep you engaged for an afternoon. At $99.99 it's not a steal, but it's priced in line with what you're getting. Resale has been quiet but steady, which tells you demand is real even if it's not a rocket. For Harry Potter fans, this is one of the most character-rich sets the theme has ever produced.
