The Full Take
The Knight Bus is one of those sets where the minifig selection does the heavy lifting. Stan and Ernie aren't marquee names, but that's the point — LEGO® went deep into the source material and came up with a roster that feels like a reward for actual fans. The bus itself is a tight, readable recreation of a triple-decker purple icon, even if 403 pieces means some areas feel sparse up close. At $39.99 original retail, this was one of the better-priced Harry Potter releases of the wave. The shrunken head as an accessory is a small detail that punches well above its size. It won't win any awards for build complexity, but as a shelf piece in a Harry Potter collection it's hard to argue with.
