The hippogriff model is the reason to pick this one up — LEGO® nailed the poseable wings and the proud stance in a way that feels earned for a creature that's tricky to render in brick. The hut itself is a decent recreation, but at $59.99 for 496 pieces the structure feels a touch thin, and you'll notice the open-back presentation is more diorama than building. Six minifigs is a strong cast though: Hagrid, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, and Draco cover the key players in this scene almost perfectly. Display-wise it reads well from the front, especially paired with other Hogwarts sets. It's a B because the hippogriff alone makes it worth the shelf space — just don't expect the hut to blow you away on its own.
