The Full Take
The Dark Lord of the Sith got the buildable figure treatment in 2018, and the result is a set that can't quite decide what it wants to be. At 168 pieces, the build is over before it starts, and the poseable limbs never quite land the intimidating stance you're imagining. The face printing is solid, the helmet shape reads well from across the room — but up close, the proportions feel chunky in ways that work against the character. Forty dollars for this size was a stretch at launch, and it's hard to shake that feeling even now. If you're deep into the Star Wars collectible space, it slots into the buildable figure lineup fine; if you're new to it, there are better ways to put Vader on your shelf.
