Twenty dollars for 94 pieces and zero minifigs — this Elite TIE Fighter Pilot buildable figure had to bring something extraordinary to justify that, and it mostly doesn't.

The Full Take
The Elite TIE Fighter Pilot is part of LEGO®'s Star Wars buildable figures line, and the concept is cooler than the execution. At $19.99 for 94 pieces with no minifig included, the price tag asks a lot before you even open the box. The build itself is clever in spots — articulated limbs, decent helmet detail — but at this scale it's over in under an hour and leaves you wanting more. On the shelf it reads as a curiosity rather than a centerpiece, the kind of thing that gets shuffled to the back row. Secondary market data is lukewarm, so don't expect the price to do any heavy lifting after retirement. The B on the love grade is real though: if you're into this specific pilot and this specific style of figure, the charm is there. Just walk in knowing exactly what you're buying.
