Three minifigs and a BB-8 playset for a price that makes you double-check the tag — the Mini Boost Droid Commander is a weird little set that somehow overdelivers on value without overstaying its welcome.
Is the price fair?A+One of the better-priced small Star Wars sets LEGO® has put out — hard to feel burned at this tag.
Will you love it?B-Fun for what it is, but the build wraps up fast and the display payoff is modest.
Holds its value?A-Quietly steady on the secondary market — don't expect fireworks, but it won't crater either.

The Full Take
Mini Boost Droid Commander is the kind of set that shouldn't work as well as it does. Sixty-two pieces isn't much to work with, but LEGO® squeezes three minifigs out of this thing — BB-8, a First Order droid, and a mouse droid — plus a chunky little command station that looks like it belongs in the background of a Star Wars scene. The build itself is brief, more of a Saturday-morning side project than a centerpiece, and nobody's mistaking it for a display trophy. But at its price point, it's hard to argue with the math-free way it feels like a deal. The C+ overall is fair: it's not a must-have, but it's also not a miss for the right buyer.
