No minifigs, 643 pieces, and an $80 ask — the Venator deserves better than this shell of a set. The ship itself is iconic, but LEGO®'s execution here feels like a placeholder waiting for a real release.
Is the price fair?DEighty dollars for 643 pieces and not a single minifig is hard to defend.

The Full Take
The Venator-class Star Destroyer is one of the most beloved ships in the Star Wars universe, and LEGO® knows it — which makes this set's shortcomings sting that much more. Six hundred forty-three pieces with zero minifigures at $80 is a tough sell no matter how you frame it. The model itself captures the silhouette well enough, and fans of the Clone Wars era will feel the pull, but the build doesn't deliver the depth or detail the ship deserves at this price. It's the kind of set that looks fine in photos and underwhelms in hand. A C overall says it all: not a disaster, just a missed opportunity on a license that had real potential.
