Two minifigs in a $18 Star Wars set is the kind of ratio that makes you do a double-take. Darth Maul Mech lands a B+ overall — it's small, it's menacing, and it punches above its price point.
Is the price fair?A-Fair for what's here, especially with two minifigs softening the blow.
Will you love it?BMaul's mech looks legitimately cool on a desk — just don't expect a long build session.
Holds its value?B-Middle-of-the-road retirement outlook; a B- hold means buy it to own it, not bank on it.

The Full Take
The double minifig inclusion at this price tier is what separates this from the usual mech filler — Darth Maul plus a companion at $18 is a legitimate win. The mech silhouette is sharp enough to stand on a shelf without looking like an afterthought, and Maul's Sith design translates surprisingly well to the oversized mechanical frame. Build-wise, 143 pieces won't take long, but the session doesn't feel hollow either. The weakest link is the overall 'what you get' score — there's a ceiling on how much detail and complexity LEGO® can pack into this scale and price. Still, for a B+ drop score, this one delivers where it counts most: recognizability, value, and that second minifig doing real heavy lifting.
