Home One carries real weight in Star Wars lore: it's where the Rebel Alliance planned the Battle of Endor, and that history should translate into a must-have model. What we got is a mid-sized brick build with a recognizable silhouette but not much else to write home about. No minifigures at $69.99 is a tough ask for a set that's already light on detail and display drama. The build itself is fairly straightforward — nothing here is going to teach you a new technique or leave you with a satisfying 'aha' moment. The appreciation outlook is the one bright spot, sitting above average for this price tier, but that's cold comfort when the out-of-box experience underwhelms. If you're a completionist collector of Star Wars vessels, it fills a gap. Everyone else is probably going to feel the pinch of what's missing more than the joy of what's there.
