The ARC-170 has always been one of the Clone Wars' most underrated ship designs, and this 2025 build does it reasonable justice at 497 pieces. Four minifigs for $70 is genuinely generous by modern Star Wars standards — that alone bumps this above a lot of comparably priced sets. The build itself is competent without being memorable; you're not going to hit a moment mid-build where you stop and stare at a technique. Shelf presence is solid — wide wingspan, good proportions — but it won't stop guests in their tracks the way a UCS piece would. Where it softens is in the detail density; the finished model reads a little hollow up close. Still, for a mid-tier Star Wars set, the value proposition is hard to argue with.
