The Full Take
The U-wing has a legitimately cool silhouette, and LEGO® finally gives it a treatment that feels complete rather than rushed. Four minifigs at this price point is the kind of ratio that makes you feel like you got a fair deal, not a shakedown. The build won't blow a veteran's mind — at 594 pieces it's solid but not dense — and the overall parts count means it fills out faster than you'd want. That said, the finished model reads well on a shelf and the Star Wars mid-tier rarely hits this squarely. It's a B+ because almost everything works, not because anything is exceptional.
