A golden protocol droid rendered in 1,140 pieces — C-3PO has never looked this fussy, this meticulous, or this committed to the bit. The C+ says it all: solid execution, but at $140 you're paying for the character more than the set.
Is the price fair?A-Not a steal, but the character carries enough weight to justify the shelf fee.
Will you love it?C+Golden and display-worthy, though the build itself won't blow you away.
Holds its value?BModest but real — recognizable character busts tend to find their audience post-retirement.

The Full Take
C-3PO as a brick-built bust is one of those ideas that sounds perfect until you're staring at the price tag. The figure itself is detailed and display-ready — the golden plating effect through careful part selection is the real achievement here. At 1,140 pieces, the build has substance, but it's not the kind of complexity that'll make a builder's jaw drop. It's more meditatively repetitive than technically thrilling. The B- on price reflects a set that isn't cheap but isn't a gouge either — you're paying for the IP and the shelf presence, and both deliver at a moderate level. It holds a B for value retention, which is encouraging for anyone who wants a guilt-free purchase. Overall, a C+ — a set that will make sense to the right Star Wars fan and feel skippable to everyone else.
