Luke's X-wing Mech sits in that strange LEGO® lane where the concept is cleverer than the execution. The mech format reimagines a classic ship as a poseable action figure, which gives kids something they can actually play with rather than just display and knock over. At $15.99 it's a fine impulse buy but the price-to-payoff ratio leans lean — you're not getting a ton of set for your money, and experienced builders will move through it fast. The single minifig (Luke, at least) adds some legitimacy to the package. Display potential is limited; this reads as a kid's toy on the shelf, not a showpiece. It's a B- because the idea works better than the parts count suggests, but nobody's calling this essential Star Wars.
