The Full Take
Red and black is a dangerous color combo in LEGO® Star Wars — either it looks menacing or it looks cheap, and the Crimson Firehawk lands firmly in the first camp. Three minifigs for $49.99 is a strong ratio, and the ship itself has a silhouette that reads well from across the room. At 136 pieces the build won't take all afternoon, but the design work is tight enough that the session feels deliberate, not sparse. This sits in that sweet spot where a set is priced to actually get bought rather than sit on a shelf at retail for two years. The B+ on love is fair — it's not a landmark release, but it's a well-executed one. Display-worthy out of the box, playable on day one, and priced without the usual Star Wars tax.
