The Spider Tank shows up in The Mandalorian with enough menace to warrant a LEGO® set, and the model translates that angular walker energy reasonably well. Three minifigs is decent, and Grogu is always a crowd-pleaser. But 526 pieces for $49.99 sits in that uncomfortable middle zone where the build feels too quick for the price and the display presence isn't dramatic enough to justify shelf real estate over bigger, bolder Star Wars sets. The walker articulation is fun for about ten minutes and then it's a static display piece — which is fine, but only if you love the source material. As a B- overall, it's a perfectly acceptable set that never quite becomes a great one.
