630 pieces and zero minifigs for seventy bucks — you're paying for a nameplate and a ship silhouette that's been done better, bigger, and cheaper by LEGO®'s own back catalog.
Is the price fair?C-Seventy dollars for a wedge and a name — the IP is pulling way too much weight here.
Will you love it?CIconic ship, forgettable build — fine on the shelf but unlikely to stick in your memory.
Holds its value?B-Modest secondary market potential; Star Wars keeps it from sinking but won't make you rich.

The Full Take
The Executor is one of Star Wars' most iconic vessels, and LEGO® knows fans will reach for it on name alone. But at $69.99 for 630 pieces with no minifigs and no interior detail, the set leans hard on the IP rather than the product. The build is a wedge with some greebling — functional, but not the kind of session that makes you lose track of time. Display presence is decent at this scale, though it won't dominate a shelf the way the UCS version once did. The value grade stings the most here: this is a set where the logo on the box is doing most of the heavy lifting. If you're a Star Wars completist, you probably already know you're buying it. Everyone else should pump the brakes and think hard about what seventy dollars gets you.
