The Full Take
The Emperor's throne room is one of cinema's great stages, and LEGO® built it out with moody lighting details, the curved walls, and that unmistakable throne. The diorama format means it's designed to be looked at — and it delivers a respectable shelf presence. But $100 for 807 pieces and three figures is a hard sell when comparable dioramas in this line offer more for the same money. The build experience is competent without being surprising; there's craft here but few moments that make you stop and think. Luke, Vader, and the Emperor are solid minifigs, and the scene composition reads immediately from across the room. Where it falls down is simple math: LEGO® charged premium money for a mid-tier execution. A strong IP moment carrying a set that doesn't quite rise to meet it.
