The Slave I has always been a weird shape to pull off in LEGO® form, and this 2021 entry does it better than you'd expect at this scale — the cockpit geometry is clean and the landing-gear orientation gimmick still impresses. Boba Fett and Fennec Shand together make this a two-minifig package worth owning for the characters alone. The build itself is satisfying enough: not a brain-bender, but not mindless either, with some good structural choices around the fuselage. The problem is purely financial — fifty dollars for this set feels like you're paying a Star Wars tax that the box can't quite justify. Display-wise it holds its own without dominating a shelf, which is either a feature or a flaw depending on your space.
