The Meditation Chamber is one of Star Wars' most iconic rooms and LEGO® finally built it — but at $70 for what you get, you're paying a premium for the concept more than the construction.
Is the price fair?C-You're mostly paying for the IP concept — the parts and build don't back up the $70 ask.
Will you love it?CNostalgia gets you in the door; the shallow build and limited play might not keep you there.
Holds its value?B-Solid enough after retirement — not a rocketship, but it doesn't crater either.

The Full Take
Darth Vader's Meditation Chamber is legitimately cool lore made physical — the scene from Empire is burned into every fan's memory, and LEGO® deserves credit for tackling it at all. The problem is the execution at this price point. 663 pieces for $69.99 lands thin when the finished model feels more like a display prop than a complete build. The two minifigs (Vader and a Bespin Guard) don't exactly justify the gap. On the shelf it reads well — the sphere cracks open, the Vader reveal works — but the play pattern is limited and the build itself doesn't offer much that surprises a seasoned builder. The B- on resale is the quiet silver lining: it holds value reasonably well after retiring, which at least gives patient buyers a floor to stand on.
