The Full Take
General Grievous is one of the most visually striking characters in Star Wars, and his starfighter has real design potential — so it stings a little that this set delivers a C when it could've been so much more. The ship itself is recognizable and holds together on a shelf, but it lacks the detail and drama the subject demands. Three minifigs for $80 is thin, and Grievous himself feels underserved by a build that doesn't quite match his chaotic, four-armed energy. The construction experience is workmanlike — nothing technically exciting, nothing that makes you stop mid-build and think 'clever.' It appreciates modestly after retirement, which is genuinely its strongest quality, but that's damning with faint praise. If you're a Grievous superfan, you already know you're buying this; everyone else can wait for a sale.
