The Full Take
Anakin's Jedi Interceptor has one thing going for it: the ship is immediately recognizable, and the yellow-striped design translates well into brick form for its size. The problem is that $29.99 buys you a model that feels closer to a $19.99 set — light in the hand, light on detail, light on anything surprising in the build. Two minifigs (Anakin and R2-D2) do real work here; R2 alone justifies shelf space for Clone Wars fans. But the cockpit area is boxy where it should taper, and the wings lack the crispness of the source material. It's a C+ because the license and the minifigs pull it up from what the build alone would earn. Buy it on sale and you'll feel better about the whole thing.
