Six 501st troopers and a speeder bike for thirty bucks sounds like a deal until you realize the build itself is mostly just a launching pad for the minifigs.
Is the price fair?B-Star Wars tax on a battle pack — you're paying for the logo as much as the bricks.
Will you love it?CThe troopers are the whole show; the build is just filler around them.
Holds its value?BSteady enough on the secondary market — the 501st name carries real demand.

The Full Take
The 501st Legion is one of Star Wars' most beloved units, and LEGO® leaned hard on that brand equity here — six blue-marked clone troopers are the entire reason this set exists. The build around them is thin: a couple of small vehicle and terrain vignettes that feel more like minifig stands than actual models. At $29.99 it's not a robbery, but you're paying a Star Wars premium for a battle pack that's essentially a glorified army-builder starter kit. The minifig quality is sharp and the 501st deco is clean, which does a lot of heavy lifting. Collectors who wanted a squad on a shelf will get a squad on a shelf — just don't expect the scenery to impress anyone. Secondary market has been kind enough to this one that holding wasn't a terrible call, but the build itself will never be the reason anyone remembers owning it.
