D-O is a fun curiosity in the Star Wars LEGO® lineup — a relatively small, round droid given a 519-piece set that lands at a surprisingly fair price point for 2020. The build itself has some clever techniques to capture that tilted wheeled silhouette, and it's a satisfying afternoon project. On the shelf though, D-O is compact to the point of feeling underwhelming next to the BB-8 or R2-D2 builds it naturally gets compared to. One minifig — Rey — ships with it, which technically counts but barely registers as a bonus. Where this set quietly shines is in its post-retirement trajectory; secondary market demand has held up well for a C+ overall set, which is a pleasant surprise. If you love the character, this is the best version of it you're getting in plastic. If you're lukewarm on D-O, the set won't change your mind.
