The Full Take
Kylo Ren's shuttle is one of the more iconic silhouettes in the sequel trilogy, so the bar for a Microfighter version should be low enough to clear easily. It doesn't quite clear it. The folding-wing gimmick that makes the full-scale sets dramatic is completely absent here, and what's left is a blocky wedge that loosely implies the source material. The minifig is fine — Kylo comes with his helmet and a lightsaber, no complaints there — but he's doing more heavy lifting than the ship. At $9.99, it's not a painful buy, but the D on price reflects how little you're getting relative to what other sets in this range deliver. A C- overall feels about right: not offensive, just underwhelming for a ship that deserved more.
