The 2019 Yoda bust is a polarizing piece: the concept is solid, Yoda is one of the most recognizable faces in sci-fi, and a large-scale brick-built portrait sounds like a slam dunk. In practice, the likeness is serviceable but not stunning — the eyes and proportions have an uncanny-valley quality that bothers more fans than LEGO® probably expected. The build itself is competent, using some curved techniques that keep builders busy, but it's not a showpiece of clever LEGO® engineering. The price tag was aggressive at launch and nothing about secondary market performance has softened that original sting much. A B- hold grade is the one genuine bright spot here, meaning patient owners aren't completely out of luck. But this isn't a set you buy because you couldn't say no — it's one you buy because you really, really love Yoda specifically. Everyone else can probably skip it.
