Few Star Wars moments carry as much weight as the Death Star trench run, and LEGO® managed to bottle that energy into a sub-$30 set that punches above its size. You get Luke's X-wing, two TIE fighters, Darth Vader, and the trench itself — all the ingredients. The minifig selection is sharp, and for a kid or a casual fan this reads as a complete little scene rather than a fragment. That said, $29.99 for 132 pieces is a tough sell when you do the math on what else is on shelves at that price.
