Mos Eisley Cantina deserves a monument and got a sketch instead. The 2018 version clocks in at 376 pieces and the build reflects that constraint hard — what should feel like a den of scum and villainy comes off as a partial wall with a bar stool. The four minifigs are fine, and the price point is where LEGO® did right by buyers. But the love grade bottoms out because the finished model struggles to hold its own on a shelf or in a kid's hands. Collectors who waited got the 2021 set (3,187 pieces, an entirely different conversation), which makes this one read mostly as a placeholder. The silver lining: it holds value well in the aftermarket, so if you grabbed it at retail, you're not hurting — you're just not exactly proud of the shelf real estate either.
