The AT-ST is one of Star Wars' most recognizable walkers, but LEGO® charged $40 for a build that feels like it should've shipped at $25. The C lands because the set exists, not because it excels.
Is the price fair?F$40 for this build is a hard pill — the price-to-payoff ratio just isn't there.
Will you love it?C+Recognizable model, decent minifig lineup, but the build itself is shallow and forgettable.
Holds its value?C+Flat secondary market — nothing here to drive collector demand after retirement.

The Full Take
First Order AT-ST leans on one of the franchise's most iconic silhouettes, and the finished model does read as an AT-ST from across the room — that's not nothing. The problem is the price. Forty dollars for 370 pieces and a build this thin is a tough ask when better walker sets exist at comparable prices. Four minifigs help soften the blow, including a couple of First Order troops that have play value for kids, but display collectors will want more detail and builders will want more challenge. It's a C because it's functional and recognizable, not because it's doing anything special. Star Wars fans with younger kids will get the most out of it; everyone else should wait for a sale.
