The First Order TIE Fighter Microfighter is a perfectly fine little set trapped in an overpriced shell. The build itself is cute — the chunky TIE silhouette reads well at palm scale, and the printed minifig is a nice touch for any Star Wars shelf. But LEGO®'s $9.99 ask for 91 pieces makes this one of the weaker value propositions in the Microfighter lineup, and that's hard to ignore.
