The Full Take
Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter has the right shape and the right name, but not much else going for it. The silhouette reads fine on a shelf, yet up close the construction feels routine — no standout techniques, no moments that make you pause mid-build. Four minifigs sounds generous until you realize the set needed them to justify $79.99 for 630 pieces. That price at launch was the real problem, and it colored everything: the value story never clicked. The 9.0 appreciation score suggests the secondary market has been kinder to it than LEGO® was at retail, so at least time has done some of the work. Still, this is a set you buy because you need it in your collection, not because it demands to be owned.
