The Full Take
Luke's Landspeeder has been a LEGO® staple since the '90s, and this 2017 version lands squarely in the middle of that legacy — nothing embarrassing, nothing exciting. Four minifigs for $20 is the headline, and it's a decent one: Luke, Obi-Wan, a Sandtrooper, and a Tusken Raider cover a solid slice of the Tatooine story. The build itself is thin, though — 149 pieces gets you a shallow dish of a vehicle that reads more as a placeholder than a showpiece. It sits fine in a larger Tatooine layout but looks a little sparse on its own. The C+ is fair: this is a set that does its job without doing anything memorable.
