Arcanine in brick form hits harder than it has any right to — the pose, the mane, the sheer size of it make this one of the more convincing Pokémon builds LEGO® has ever pulled off, and $109.99 for 1190 pieces of that? Hard to argue with.
Is the price fair?B-$109.99 for this much dog? Fair deal.

The Full Take
Arcanine was always going to be a tough one to nail in brick form — too much flowing fur, too much personality — and yet this build lands it. The pose feels alive, the mane reads as mane, and the orange-and-black colorwork does the source material justice at display scale. At $109.99 it's one of the more fairly priced entries in the Pokémon line, which has not always been the case. The build itself is solid without being groundbreaking — competent techniques in service of the sculpture rather than the other way around. Where it stumbles is the long game: the Pokémon LEGO® line has shown mixed signals on secondary market staying power, and Arcanine, beloved as it is, isn't the consensus centerpiece pick that drives collector panic. Buy this because you want Arcanine on your shelf, not because you're running a calculation.
